Summary

Description
English: Maximum Likelihood tree inferred from 664 bp of the mitochondrial cytochrome oxidase subunit 1 (cox1) gene, showing the differentiation between Paroedura species. Note that this single-gene tree is not suitable to reconstruct the basal relationships of these geckos but is rather shown to document the large genetic divergences among all of them, and of P. hordiesi to its relatives. Numbers behind species names are sample numbers as given in Nagy et al. (2012) and Koubová et al. (2014), as well as GenBank accession numbers of the respective sequences.
