This monument is built by national monuments society (Iranian governmental organization) in 1352 AH (i.e. 1973 AD). According to article 16 of the Iranian copyright law, since this monument belonged to a person in legal position, the author's financial rights would be valid for a period of only 30 years from the date of public presentation. This means the monument is out of copyright protection from 1382 AH (2003 AD) and I was free to take pictures of it (Please note that there is no freedom of panorama exception in the Iranian copyright law). |
