English: Matthew Charles Horner (March 10, 1901 – June 27, 1972) was an Officer of the United States Marine Corps with the rank of Major General, who served as Supply Officer of 4th Marine Division and later as Commanding General of the Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island. The Major General Matthew C. Horner Chair of Military Theory is named in his honor.
