English: 1914-1918 Museum Rath, Geneva. International Prisoners-of-War Agency (IPWA) of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC): Marguerite Augusta Berthout van Berchem, daughter of the archaeologist Max van Berchem. She became the head of the German Service at the IPWA during World War I. After the death of her father in 1921 she continued his archaeological works and kept working for the ICRC.
Deutsch: 1914-1918 Museum Rath, Genf. Internationale Zentralstelle für Kriegsgefangene des Internationalen Komitees vom Roten Kreuz (IKRK), Spezialdienst Telegramme: Marguerite Augusta Berthout van Berchem. Die Tochter des Archäologen Max van Berchem wurde Direktorin der Abteilung für deutsche Kriegsgefangene. Nach dem Tod ihres Vater 1921 setzte sie dessen Arbeiten fort und arbeitete weiterhin für das IKRK.
