Galego: Mapa do Magreb (poñente) realizado por Ibn Hawqal para o seu Kitāb sūrat al-ard (كتاب صورة الارض) (Libro da configuración da Terra). O texto superior do primeiro folio di: Este é un río xunto ao cal se atopan lugares, distritos e comarcas rurais que pertencen aos musulmáns; chamado río Texo, sobre o seu curso hai unha cidade [Zamora] que fai fronteira con Galiza. Este río atravesa Galiza entre Almada e Lisboa, do dominio de al-Andalus, e penetra no Océano.
العربية: خريطة المغرب رسمها ابن حوقل لكتابه صورة الأرض. في النص العلوي من الصحيفة الأولى: هذا نهر توجد بامتداده أماكن وأقاليم ومقاطعات ريفية تابعة للمسلمين؛ يسمى نهر تاجوس، على مجراه توجد مدينة [زامورا] على حدود غاليسيا. يعبر هذا النهر غاليسيا بين ألمادا ولشبونة في نطاق الأندلس ويخترق المحيط.
