DescriptionMaelmin - reconstruction of henge - geograph.org.uk - 420781.jpg
English: Maelmin - reconstruction of henge. Maelmin is a heritage site that tells the story of ancient Northumberland. The site was opened in 2000. There are three full-size archaeological reconstructions. This one is of the Milfield North henge monument. It was built in 2000, part of it by a team of volunteers living as Neolithic men and women and using only the tools of that period. http://www.maelmin.org.uk/index.html
