Description Valletta, Malta. Countess Mountbatten pictured with the Officer Commanding 78 Wing RAAF, Group Captain Brian A Eaton DSO, DFC of Canterbury, Vic, after the Anzac Day service in Malta. The Wing was stationed in Malta for garrison duty; along with 14 Squadron RNZAF it played an important role in the service.
