Summary

Description
English: This is an M12 A-coded 5-pin screw connector. The coding is given by the inner shape of the cylinder that houses the pins, which as we can see is a barely rectangular peg connected to the inner wall. The screw cylinder rotates around the inner cylinder. A-coded connectors are defined for several pin counts, each with a defined pin layout, which is why the pin count also counts when naming A-coded connectors. The A-coded connectors are for generic signalling, so their pinouts are not necessarily further standardized. This specimen is the output end of a grounded 24V DC power supply. Based on continuity measurements, the 2 pins closest to the coding peg are connected, and the 2 opposing pins are connected to protective earth.
