Summary

Description A Māngai pūtōrino - the 'top' aperture from where a pūtōrino, a traditional Māori musical instrument, is played by putting the mouth and 'blowing'. Note the oval, flattened shape of the instrument and in this case the obvious join where the 2 halves have been matched in construction. This hole measures 20mm wide and 13mm high.
