English: Looking at the west facade of the "fourth school" annex of the Brownell School, located at 1300 Sumner Avenue in Cleveland, Ohio, in the United States.
The Brownell School was added to the National Register on February 1, 2006. The original school building was erected in 1850, and demolished in 1865. It was replaced with a new building in 1865. This second structure was demolished in 1930 and is now a parking lot. The first of the existing annexes (the "third school") opened in September 1885. A second annex (the "fourth school") opened in 1905. A third annex (the "fifth school"), designed to link the first annex to the 1865 building, opened in 1909. |
