Summary

Description
English: Very low magnification micrograph of the locus ceruleus, also spelled locus coeruleus, a nucleus found in the rostral pons in the lateral floor of the fourth ventricle. It literally means blue spot, based on its gross appearance. It is a center of norepinephrine (noradrenaline) production.
