Summary

Description
English: Locator map highlighting the Orange Free State Province in South Africa. This map depicts the situation from 1 March 1994, when Walvis Bay was ceded to Namibia, to 27 April 1994, when the Interim Constitution came into force and new provinces were constituted. Transkei, Bophuthatswana, Venda and Ciskei, which were nominally independent of South Africa, are marked with stripes. The self-governing homeland of QwaQwa within the OFS is marked in a lighter shade of red.
