Summary

Description
English: Postcard with a painting by Otto Bollhagen, showing the headquarter of the shipping company Norddeutscher Lloyd (North German Lloyd) in Bremen, Germany. Built from 1907 to 1910 in a eclectic architectural style mix by Johann Georg Poppe, the building was severly damaged in world war II and finally demolished in 1969.
Deutsch: Postkarte mit einem Gemälde von Otto Bollhagen, das das 1910 eingeweihte Firmenhauptquartier des Norddeutschen Lloyd in Bremen zeigt (links vom Turm verläuft die Knochenhauerstraße, rechts davon die Papenstraße). Das 1907 bis 1910 nach Entwürfen von Johann Georg Poppe im eklektischen Stil errichtete Gebäude wurde im Zweiten Weltkrieg schwer beschädigt und 1969 schließlich ganz abgerissen.
