Summary

Description
English: French Lieutenant Bouley, an officer of the Chasseurs Alpins (Alpine Hunters) was captured by Oflag IV-C security guards within minutes after escape, when this photo was taken, Bouley had dropped his watch, as was observed by a German guard. When the guard shouted "Hey, Fräulein, your watch!", in German, Bouley did not respond and this raised the suspicion that led to recapture.
