English: A mature specimen of Leycesteria formosa, the Pheasant Berry (Caprifoliaceae), growing in a front garden in the village of Paxton (Scottish Borders). Plant still attractive in leaf and fruit on November the 19th of 2021, less than a fortnight before the 110mph winds of Storm Arwen - which stripped it bare ( leaving only the bamboo-like stems ) and nearly wrenched it from the ground.
