DescriptionLewisham Road railway station (site), Greater London (geograph 5982235).jpg
English: Lewisham Road railway station (site), Greater London Opened in 1871 by the London Chatham & Dover Railway, later part of the South Eastern & Chatham Railway, on the short branch line from Nunhead to Greenwich Park, this station closed in 1917.
View north east towards Blackheath Hill and Greenwich Park, although the remaining railway line here curves right to Lewisham. The wooden single-storey entrance building to the right was extant but in a poor state when this image was taken, and the platforms below have long-since disappeared.
