Other information: This is an informal photo of the subject taken in Edinburgh, UK by her colleagues circa 1990, and now in their keeping. Since her death in 1999 they've used it non-commercially to publicise the prize named for her. No commercial interest, copyright claim or photographer ID has emerged in the time since and none is anticipated. It's a simple thumbnail of a notable figure during her working prime and no other pic of that period is available.

Insofar as any rights of physical ownership of the image or its reproduction have vested in the subject herself, these have passed to her estate. Her executor Grahamsands (talk) 14:29, 29 September 2024 (UTC) therefore grants her colleagues permission to continue using it and has uploaded this image to this W page.
