Com exceção da foto “k” em todas as demais a extremidade proximal do osso encontra-se na parte superior da imagem. a) vista medial do pescoço do fêmur esquerdo; b) vista medial do pescoço do fêmur direito; c) vista lateral da extremidade proximal do fêmur direito (logo acima do trocanter maior; d) e e) vista lateral da extremidade distal da fíbula direita; f) vista posterior da ulna e do rádio direito, as setas apontam as incisões que sugerem que esses ossos estavam articulados no momento do corte; g) vista posterior da extremidade proximal da ulna direita; h) vista posterior/lateral da diáfise da ulna direita; i) vista posterior da ulna direita; j) vista posterior da parte proximal da diáfise do rádio direito; k) vista posterior da extremidade proximal do rádio direito; l) fragmento de osso não identificado com diversas incisões. A Lapa do Santo é um sítio arqueológico localizado na região de Lagoa Santa em Minas Gerais. Apresenta um rico registro da cultura material dos grupos que habitaram o Brasil central durante Holoceno Inicial, Médio e Final. Dezenas de sepultamentos humanos foram encontrados na Lapa do Santo. O Sepultamento era composto pelos ossos de um único indivíduo adulto que haviam sido dercarnados, separados e enterrados na forma de um fardo. Nessa imagem é possível observar as marcas de corte a partir das quais se inferiu a ocorrência destes processos.
