Summary

Description
English: The foreshore at Lambeth, London. Hand-titled "Old house near Lambeth Palace Western End", Date about 1860-5. Boats rest on the foreshore at low water. The river wall is low, easily ascended by short ladders. These buildings were shortly demolished and the Albert Embankment was constructed.
