Description
English: General Auchinleck, Commander in Chief of the Middle East Forces, decorating Lieutenant Colonel Howard Karl Kippenberger with the Distinguished Service Order during presentation of awards to members of a NZ brigade in the Western Desert. Taken at Baggush on 4 November 1941 by an official photographer. The author of this work was an official photographer of the NZ Military Forces and thus copyright in this work rests with the Crown.
