Summary

Description
English: Amazon sarcophagus. For Cladius Severinus and his wife Berenice. It was found in 1990 in a graveyard at 3 kilometers from Aizanoi. It suffered some damage due to illegal earlier excavations. In an Hürriyet Daily News article I read that it is the best preserved Amazon sarcophagus in the world, and that there are only 21 known with that subject.
