Description
English: Khalid ibn al-Walid mosque is located in the Khaldiya district of Homs, the third largest city in Syria. It is situated in a park alongside Hama Street about 500 metres (1,600 ft) north of Shoukri al-Quwatli Street. Designed by Turkish architect Türk mimar Abdullah bin Alaaddin Olsun, the mosque construction was completed in 1912.
العربية: جامع خالد بن الوليد هو جامع ومسجد خالد بن الوليد الواقع في مدينة حمص في سوريا ويقع في منطقة الخالدية في الجهة الشمالية الشرقية من مدينة حمص الواقعة على نهر العاصي. ويضم الجامع ضريح القائد العربي الصحابي خالد بن الوليد الملقب بسيف الله المسلول، المتوفى في حمص سنة 641م. جرى تصميم الجامع من قبل المهندس المعماري التركي عبد الله بن علاء الدين أولصون واكتمل بناءه عام 1912.
