Description
English: The Hindu death rituals "Karma - Kanda" shown in the picture is of Late Narmadeshwar Jha of Banauli Village near Janakpur city of Mithila in Nepal. The ritual activities shown in the picture is practiced in the Maithili Brahmins. The place is located at the Durga Puja Mandir of the village. Near the temple, there is a pond known as Sarkari Pokhair.
