Az előtérben balról László király baljával Árpád-sávos címeres pajzsra támaszkodik, jobbjában kardot tart. Az előtérben jobbról felhalmozott földre lábvértpáncélból lisztet szór egy katona, ugyanilyet hoz a mögötte jövő is. A krónika elbeszélése szerint a várbeliek, látván, hogy még bőven van eleségük az ostromlóknak, önként feladják a várat.
