Description Grave of Joseph Hobson Jagger, "The Man Who Broke The Bank At Monte Carlo". Looking west in the graveyard of Bethel Chapel, Shelf, West Yorkshire. Jagger left £20 to the chapel for upkeep of the grave, including repainting of the railings. They have been painted twice and both painters died shortly afterwards. There have been no more volunteers for the task.
