English: Vignette engraving, with a facsimile of his signature, copied from The Voyage of the Jeannette ..., Volume I, page 52, edited by Emma DeLong, published in 1884. Lieutenant Danenhower was Second Officer on USS Jeannette's 1879–1881 Arctic exploring expedition.
