Title
Boarding the Chesapeake.
Description
A depiction of the first cannon volley between the U.S.S. Chesapeake and the H.M.S. Shannon on 1 June 1813, which eventually defeated the Chesapeake. This was the first of a series of four paintings depicting the battle.
