English: John Chawner Antique Clock Specialist This exquisite antiques shop, dating from 1891, is located a little east of Birchington station, adjacent to the footbridge over the railway just beyond it. As you can see, it is rather overgrown with ivy, but apart from that it seems quite well maintained. The shop is filled with antiques of all kinds - clocks, rocking horses (one of which you can just see in the photo) and models of ships, trains, etc. The view is looking north, with the railway in a cutting behind the shop.
