| Description |
English: A small monument installed by the Jianshui County police department by the side of Yunnan Route 214 south of Potou Village (Potou Township, Jianshui County, Yunnan), on a fairly dangerous 38-km stretch of the road where it descends ca. 1500 m over a 38-km stretch, from Potou Village toward the Red River valley. The inscription commemorates 10 people who perished in a traffic accident at this spot (km 218.250 of Hwy 214) at 18:10 on 2001-08-31. A passenger vehicle traveling from Jianshui to Yuanyang run off the road here; 10 people died, and 5 were wounded.
