Gral. Jesús H. Salgado fue un militar mexicano que participó en la Revolución Mexicana. Nació en la Los Sauces, distrito de Teloloapan, Guerrero, el 5 de febrero de 1873. Fue miembro de una familia de clase típica media del lugar en donde vivía, dedicándose al comercio y al transporte de mercancías en el pueblo de Balsas. En marzo de 1911 se incorporó a la lucha maderista en Apaxtla, Guerrero. Organizó un grupo de hombres de la región y participó con ellos en la toma de Iguala.
