English: English: This public latrine (forica) was installed in what had previously been two shops, near the Forum Baths, perhaps when the Baths themselves were repaired in the 4th century A.D. The stone seating is still preserved around the walls, there was a basin next to the pillar at the doorway.
For people who want to know, the hole in the front is so the person can wipe themselfs. They would use a sponge on a stick and in front on the floor there is a small trench that had running water to clean it off.......
