Purpose of use in article (WP:NFCC#8)	This illustration acts as a visual realisation of the phenomenon described in the article. As a phenomenon without concrete visual description, it is something difficult for one to grasp in the mind. Therefore, Mizuki's rendering of it for his Yokai encyclopedia is an excellent resource for completing the description of the phenomenon.
Not replaceable with free media because (WP:NFCC#1)	Unlike with many Yokai, who are portrayed in works dating back to the 1700s, Ishinagenjo is rarely documented and even more rarely portrayed by visual means.
Minimal use (WP:NFCC#3)	The file will be used on this page only to give a visual interpretation of the phenomenon in order to provide context to the reader.
Respect for commercial opportunities (WP:NFCC#2)	The use of this image does not, in any way, hurt Mizuki's estate's ability to sell his Yokai encyclopedia - in fact, by making use of this image it may well even spur interest in the publication.
