Shows an aerial view of buildings at the head of Canal Street by the Mississippi River, New Orleans, notably the International Trade Mart highrise and the Rivergate Convention Center. View must have been taken no earlier than 1967 (completion of the ITM highrise) and no later than 1977 (when the Hilton Riverside, not seen, would finish construction at the location at the lower right of the postcard). This copy has an hand-written note on back "5/18/70", presumably date (18 May 1970). |
