English: It's a nice drive from Duchesne through Indian Canyon and over the pass to Helper, Utah.
From utah.com/scenic-drive/indian-canyon: Accessed from Helper, this byway follows an old Indian trail used for travel between Price and Duchesne.
Stretching northeast from the historic mining town of Helper in the canyon of the Price River, US-191 ascends Willow Creek featuring open vistas and passing through the beginnings of the Roan and Book Cliff formations. Peaking at Indian Creek Pass, 9,100 feet in elevation, the byway passes through the Ashley National Forest.
On the other side of the pass, the highway winds down to US 40 near the town of Duchesne.
This byway is approximately 43 miles long and steep grades require at least one-hour driving time.
