The list given in the CIA Factbook was used as reference. Besides the CIA Factbook, the official ISO list was used as reference as well. Here are the changes between the CIA and ISO sources:

  • New correspondent memberships:
    • Cameroon
    • Gabon
    • Montenegro
    • Tajikistan
  • New subscriber memberships:
    • Laos
    • Suriname
  • Change in membership:
    • Peru (had correspondent membership, now full member)
    • Grenada (had subscriber membership, no longer listed)

In the previous version Belarus' full membership was not acknowledged; this has been fixed.

The base map is from Image:BlankMap-World-v5.png.
