English: This image represents a human cancerous cell undergoing mitosis. You can see in the image the separating chromosomes (yellow) which I segmented/"traced" these using tubes. I segmented the cell's plasma membrane (purple) by drawing lines on different slices of the image using IMOD. The lines where then interpolated using a special Interpolator plugin.
English: The software was written primarily by David Mastronarde, a friend of mine from the University of Colorado, however I segmented this image myself.
