| Description |
English: Hussein Samatar, executive director of the African Development Center of Minnesota, and Ramon Leon, executive director of the Latino Economic Development Center, stand in front of one of many restaurants and shops in the Midtown Global Market complex. It and many other commercial enterprises along Minneapolis’ Lake Street were created with help from Living Cities funds but also through the efforts of a “Careership” training program seeded 10 years ago by Living Cities. It is still going strong. |
