Summary

Description
English: Runners battle tough terrain but avoid the rocks on a small stretch of dirt during the Aramco Houston Half Marathon satellite run at Forward Operating Base Ghazni, Afghanistan, Jan. 30. The half marathon was to take place simultaneously with the race in Houston but safety was the major factor in moving it the morning. Runners ran eight laps on a gravel track at 7,200 feet above sea level.
