Description
English: Temperature distribution on an aluminium heat sink with high efficiency cooling fins. There is nearly no temperature decrease from the base to the fin top. The numerical simulation was performed with the CFD software Flotherm. Heat sink dimensions 25 x 55 mm, fin height 35 mm, fin thickness 2.0 mm, air temperature 20°C, air velocity 3 m/s, heat dissipation 12 W.
Deutsch: Temperaturverteilung an einem Aluminium-Kühlkörper mit Kühlrippen mit einem hohen Wirkungsgrad. Die Temperatur nimmt von der Basis zu Rippenspitze nur wenig ab. Die numerische Simulation wurde mit der CFD Software Flotherm durchgeführt. Kühlkörpergröße 25 x 55 mm, Rippenhöhe 35 mm, Rippendicke 2,0 mm, Lufttemperatur 20°C, Luftgeschwindigkeit 3m/s, Verlustleistung 12 W.
