Description
English: High Street (A59), Starbeck, Harrogate. The A59 is a 106 mile long, Trans-Pennine road from York to Liverpool, via Skipton. Starbeck railway station and level crossing are on the left of the picture. This row of buildings stands on the site of the former station master's house, and Beech Cottage or Beech Villa where the Harrogate Miser John Turner lived, between c.1840 and 1883.
