Summary

Description
English: Hiawatha at the Landing, Palatka, Florida. This was the largest and last of the Ocklawaha River steamers. Built by the Hart Line at East Palatka in 1904, it was 89 feet long, 23 feet wide and drew 4 and a half feet of water. It displaced 129 tons. During the 1918-1919 season, Hiawatha hit a snag which punctured the hull. Repairs were planned but never made.
