CARE President and CEO Dr. Helene Gayle addresses a crowd of approximately 12,000 participants in the 2006 AIDS Walk in Piedmont Park. Dr. Gayle spoke on how HIV/AIDS relates to poverty and presided over the"Stand-Up Moment"as demonstration of solidarity to fight global poverty. Other CARE staff including (l-r) Adam Handler, Noah Hussein, Joe Iarocci, Deb Neuman, David Ray, Michelle Marston and Sherine Ibrahim also participated in the on-stage event.
