Summary

Description
English: Heathrow it ain't! Although I think there has been a landing strip at Ballard at the western end of the Isle of Coll for some time, it has only been upgraded to a full-blown airport with a tarmac runway in the last year. The terminal building was officially opened in September 2008. There are currently four departures a week - two direct to Oban, and two to Oban via Tiree, operated by Highland Airways.
