Summary

Description
English: Wood chips are stacked and left in the open to dry. In Namibia, woody plant encroachment is systematically countered through selective bush harvesting, thinning the overall bush density. The resulting biomass is frequently processed into chips, which can serve as feedstock for industrial heating processes as well as electricity production.
