DescriptionHeadington Hill Park - geograph.org.uk - 1399531.jpg
English: Headington Hill Park, Headington, Oxford, England. This land was part of the grounds of Headington Hill Hall, owned by the Morrell brewing family, until Oxford City Council bought the house and grounds in 1953. The council split off 20 acres to form the park, and rented out the house - initially to Robert Maxwell, later to Oxford Brookes University. See http://www.headington.org.uk/history/listed_buildings/headhillhall.htm.
