The latest addition to the Pacific Command is HMCS St. Croix, which arrived in Esquimalt August 28. She is manned by a ship's company that left Victoria Jan. 7 in HMCS St. Laurent for Commonwealth naval exercises in the Indian Ocean, and then steamed around the world for Halifax. HMCS St. Croix is commanded by Cdr. John Hertzberg.
