Description The first U.S. Navy Grumman XF9F-6 Cougar fighter (BuNo 126670) in flight, circa 1952. This plane made its first flight on 20 September 1951 and is (of 2015) in storage at the National Air and Space Museum, Paul E. Garber Preservation, Restoration, and Storage Facility, Suitland, Maryland (USA).
