Tragically four of James Cooks brothers and sisters died before they reached the age of five: Mary I (1733-37, Mary II (1740-41), Jane (1738-42) and William (1745-48). All are buried with their mother, Grace Cook (1702-65), in the churchyard of All Saints Church.
