Do not copy this file to Wikimedia Commons. POV diatribe in metadata presents a subjective POV-push and contains purported facts which are immaterial to the photo and are also unsourced. Because of the POV, I looked closer at the photo. I now question the basic claim of what the photo is. The tree stumps aren't even, they look like a natural process felled them. I don't think this is a clearcut of anywhere. But, even if the photo is what it says it is, the photo should have the POV miasma on this page removed before it's moved anywhere. 108.20.176.55 (talk) 03:37, 23 September 2015 (UTC) |
-I am the creator of this work in 2005/06 and after spending much time on the ground with the people who cut these trees down on Mt Gorongosa before it became a National Park, I can attest that these trees were cut, this is not hearsay. It is a scientific fact. It is also under my own copyright, so cannot be moved to any commons area and should not be on wikipedia at all, being subjected to such rubbish. I would like to know who wrote the above, and have them contact me. What a bunch of ridiculousness. jeffrey.barbee(at)gmail.com
