Description
English: A Family scene from the home of enkekassedirektør Gerhard Christopher Schram painted in1829. "Man sidder ved eftermiddagsteen, og på væggen hænger J. F. Clemens' velkendte stik af slaget på Reden den 2. april 1801. Den unge mand til højre i billedet, der leger med hunden, blev siden administrerende direktør for den første jernbane i kongeriget fra København til Roskilde. Umiddelbart efter Treårskrigen fordanskede han sit navn til Skram i lighed med adskillige andre med tysk-klingende navne."
